Changing the list of Event Types you can choose from

Need to change the default list of event types? Read this brief how-to.
The default list of Event types you probably have to choose from is:
- Appointment
- Convention
- Meeting
- Social Event
- Work
But what if you need to categorize your events into: Fund Raiser, Volunteer, or Class?
You can add or change these categories if you are the site administrator:
- Go to Site Setup and choose Zope Management Interface at the bottom of the list
- Select portal_metadata from the long list of icons. It's usually in about the middle.
- Now click on the Elements tab at the top of the screen.
- On the list of things you can change, click on the Subject.
- You should see the default Event types listed in the Vocabulary box. Change them to the subjects you want your users to see when adding Events.
- Update your changes.
