Can I choose a different font, or color when editing a page?

This FAQ applies to: 2.0, 2.1, 2.5

The short answer is no, but you do have some limited ability to change text formatting. When you are editing a page, look for a drop-down menu that looks like this: kupu-styles.gif

You can then highlight some text and change it to one of the preset font styles in that list. Usually Heading and Subheading are included in that list, but each site probably has its own list of presets.

If you know you are going to use a particular font or color on a regular basis, you should be able to request extra fonts and colors from the consultant who helped build your site. Chances are the organization in the "Still Stumped" box on the right hand side of the screen would be the best place to start.

For the technically inclined:

If you feel comfortable using the Zope Management Interface and are familiar with HTML and CSS, you can search Plone.org for information about changing the stylesheets.
